Just Our Luck...

I know it probably sounds like we have a bazillion dogs but we really only have one---now. Brady wanted a dog that he could take with us when we're at the farm or riding horses and stuff so we decided to get a Border Collie. She was between 9-11 weeks ((we're guessing)) when we got her about a week ago. Her and Sadie got along GREAT and she was Davin's new best friend. The second day we had her Davin seriously was outside for FOUR hours playing with her. Well----this past friday we took her to the vet to get her vaccinations and something happened while the vet gave her the shots and-----the shots killed her. I know---we were way mad. Brady was burying her and Dav just kept saying "Puppy" and then Brady picked him up and said "Puppy is all gone" and Dav started crying and said "No Daddy"----Sad right?? Anyways...here are some pictures that I meant to post of her and Dav last week.

She didn't move unless he moved first.

Its just our luck with dogs I guess. Sadie is the only one who hasn't ran away or died and I'm hoping she makes it for a really really long time. We first got Sadie when we got married. She was actually Brady's parents dog but Dave suggested we take her since I wasn't working--We thought I'd need a friend. She's a great dog. We got Dusti last year when she was 6 weeks old so Sadie would have a friend. She ran away about a month ago. While we had both Sadie and Dusti we got Susie from a litter of puppies Dave and Jens dogs had. She was my best friend--she was the littlest dog I'd ever seen and I seriously LOVED the heck out of her. She got a little playful one day and decided to jump in the water trough and couldn't get out. We're actually not sure how she got in there because she was so tiny. I BAWLED my eyes out. I called Bradys mom to tell her and I was crying so hard she couldn't understand me--She thought something happened to Davin so then she started crying! Then we got Bentlei and we completely couldn't stand her. She was a gorgeous dog though. Since we were down to one we decided to get ROXY---and then her shots killed her---think we should give up???

Best Idea Ever...

I've said in previous posts that Bradys parents have a fire pit in their backyard. Graduation night we decided to make some smores. I got a few pictures but they turned out blurry for some reason--heres the best I can do...

Rieley's Graduation

Rieley graduated this year and she leaves in August to go down to Dixie State in St. George. It's crazy that she graduated--she was only a sophmore when I first met her and that doesn't seem very long ago. I'm excited for her to go to college but VERY sad!! She makes me laugh a ton and totally understands my Harry Potter obsession--whenever I have questions about Harry Potter--she's ALWAYS THERE!! We love you Rie and we're more proud of you then you know!!

Family Pictures

We got family pictures taken with the guy that comes for the cheerleaders. He did a great job and they looked so good. They're kind of blurry because I just took a picture of the picture but here they are....

And of course Davin didn't smile in either of them--he never does during family pictures. He still looks very handsome though :)

Boston and Davin

When these two get together it's so much fun to watch them. They get along so good unless one of them has the toy the other one wants--that happened this past week and we learned that Davin knows how to pull hair and bite ((he's really not mean)), and they both know how to push. But at the end of the day--they absolutely love each other! I put the pictures in different colors because Boston lives in St. George and has a GREAT sun-tan--Dav is just white as white like his momma!!

They're only five days apart and I'm really excited that they get to grow up together and be good friends all the way through.

Davin's Favorite Game

Brady's mom taught Boston and Davin how to play ring around the rosie and they will seriously play it over and over again. Bradys parents have a little fire pit in the back yard that we roast marshmellows and make smores and stuff like that on. Tuesday Dave decided he wanted to build a fire so we all went outside and sat around it. Davin decided he wanted to play ring around the rosie with Aunt Karlee and Aunt Rieley.
