April 26, 2009

Yesterday I decided to take a pregnancy test--or 2--or 3--or 4----I had to be sure. Turns out Brady and I are having another baby! We're pretty sure I'm due around Christmas time, which could be fun. We haven't gone to the doctor yet but our first appointment is May 18. I guess they don't like to see patients until they are at least 8 weeks along and by then I'll be starting my 8th week. We're really excited and can't wait for Davin to have a little brother or sister. Every time we ask him "do you want a little brother or sister" he'll say "uhh huh" so he's pretty excited to. He's good around babies as far as we can tell. When he's around Lindsay's youngest, Britton, he gives him loves and kisses so hopefully he'll be excited when the time comes.

The Cowboy Way

Davin and I went out to fix fence with Brady in the pasture behind our house yesterday after work. We had Davin in his hat and boots so he was ready to go. Some of the picture are a little blurry but still cute.

Walkin' through the hay

Davin and Dad--Notice his eye--No we don't hit him--its dirt--he had it ALL OVER

Picking up rocks--his favorite thing to do outside

Wrangler butts drive girls nuts!

We love those big baby blues.....

~~~These are my favorite two pictures~~~
He climbed up there all by himself and wouldn't leave until he was satisfied.
Funny story really fast---The other day we were at Bradys parents house and Davin had been outside with his Aunt Rieley and he had rocks in his pockets. Jen went to change his diaper and she found it not only to be wet--but it had ROCKS AND A QUARTER in it. I'm not sure what he was saving the rocks for, but I'm hoping he'll grow out of his diaper being his piggy bank.
Davin + Outside = LOVE
Davins favorite place to be is outside. He'll wait and wait and wait by the door until someone goes out with him. Today was really nice so we decided to let him play for awhile outside. Here are a few pictures I took.....
Rieley's Senior Prom
Tonight was Rieley's senior prom and she looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Her dress was AMAZING and looked SO SO good on her. Karlee did her hair and it turned out very very pretty. Her date was Austin--he was pretty shy but that's alright I think she'll have a ton of fun with him!! Here are a few pictures to show you how pretty she looked....
A Few Cute Pictures....
This picture he is saying "deeez" which is suppose to be "cheese". It was the first time I've ever heard him say it and it's so cute!
Yano those rubber balls that are in the huge racks at stores like Wal-Mart? Davin LOVES any type of ball but especially those ones. We were in Harmons in St. George and Davin's Grandma Jennie ((Bradys Mom)) bought him one. He was playing with it in the truck and he got a little bit of static electricity. I told him his hair was standing up and I'm not sure if he was trying to look at his hair or if I took the picture at the right time. I think the look on his face is priceless and I'm happy that everyone can actually see that he DOES have hair!
This just proves how happy of a kid he is, even while we're driving 6 hours. He actually wasn't this happy the whole way--I just caught him at a good time.
St. George
We went down to St. George Saturday morning. Lindsay and Bobbie were blessing Britton on Sunday. We had a lot of fun with the whole family. There was an outside pool and hot tub at our hotel so it was nice to be able to swim. It rained the whole way down so I wasn't sure if we would be able to.
We had another egg hunt on Sunday before the blessing for the kids. Boston, Lexi and Davin all hunted eggs in Lindsays brothers back yard--they had a ton of fun!
After the blessing we all went to the park to eat. Davin had his first kite flying experience which was fun. He was pretty excited and thought it was pretty funny.
Before church I was going to get a picture with all the girls ((Erin, Rieley, and Karlee)) but I only managed to get one with Karlee. I got a couple of Brady and Davin--Brady wouldn't cooperate though...
It was fun to spend time with family and see everyone...it was a good weekend. Brady's birthday was Saturday and that's the day we went to St. George. I even took him to eat at Chuck-A-Rama :)
Easter Friday....
We went down to Brady's parents house to spend some time with them. We had a little egg hunt for Davin which was pretty fun. He did pretty good after getting the hang of what he was suppose to do. Most of the time he would get an egg in each hand and then try to break them open--he's a smart kid--he knew what was inside of them. One of them broke open--that's why his mouth is full in some of the pictures.
After we had his egg hunt Brady's Mom made "Birds Nests". His mom is an AMAZING cook/baker so for every holiday she usually makes yummy treats. I ate three of them and about made myself sick--they were SO good!
Rieley and I decided to dye some eggs. They turned out cute! Davin tried to help but he only got as far as smashing two eggs together and making a mess all over Grandmas counter, chair, and floor.
