Mr. Blue Eyes

I've decided that Davin has the most gorgeous eyes...other then his Daddy's. He looks just like Brady....spitting image of when Brady was a baby. The only thing he has of mine are my eyes--at least the color of them.

He's been sick the past couple of days with Crupe--it's a type of Bronchitous in the throat. It's been a really really long couple of days. That's why he looks tired in these pictures is because he hasn't been sleeping very well. They're still way cute though :). These are my favorite pair of jammies that he has. They're almost to small :(. He's a gorgeous kid don't you think?

"Ish"

Well we found Davin's new...toy...I guess is what you call it. We finally got some fish in our fish tank and Davin LOVES them. We have a chair in front of the fish tank that he'll crawl on just to watch them. He'll look at Brady or me and say "ish" or "ishies". If you ask him where the fish are his eyes light up and he runs over to the tank and points...."ish". We also have a frog in there and he loves to watch him swim to the top to get food and then float down to the bottom. I'm glad we he's entertained by them!!

Bedtime Giggles

I just thought I'd share how happy of a kid Davin is. This is right before he fell asleep night before last and we usually go through this every night. He gets really really goofy when he gets really really tired. Last night he got one of his diapers and started chasing his puppy around and thought it was the funniest thing in the world. In this video he's laughing at absolutely nothing! Make sure you have your speakers up!!!


He's the cutest thing ever and has the best personality a kid can have!!!

Mr. Independent

I knew the day would come when Dav would want to start doing things on his own....and it has. Whenever we eat he'll want to feed himself or give himself a drink....


He'll still let one of us put him to sleep but a couple times a week we hear nothing but silence and we wonder where he went. We figure he's either in one of the bathrooms ((he learned how to flush the toilet and if we can't find him--thats the first place we look)) or we look on the floor and find him with his blanket ((he doesn't fall asleep with out it)) sound asleep.

It makes me sad that he's growing up so fast. He's at a really fun age and is starting to talk and is really playful. What makes me REALLY happy is.....HE LOVES TO DO DISHES! He definitely doesn't get that from mom because I HATE it! If he sees a sink full of bubbles or a dishwasher open he's more then willing to help. Hopefully it's not just a phase..and..yes its a knife, it's always the first thing he'll pull out and he thinks it's funny to try and tickle you with it!

I know that he'll get more independent the older he gets, it's just crazy that my baby isn't really a baby anymore. BUT I know that he'll always love me as his mommy and I'm SO SO thankful for that. :)

Time Flies By

I was just looking at all of Davin's baby pictures and thought i'd post a few. He was 5 lbs 12 oz and 17 1/2 inches long when he was born. He was TINY!! Looking at the pictures I can't believe how big he's gotten and especially how much he's changed! The last picture is one of his Christmas presents. No it's not a cat--its a puppy and no he's not strangling it--he's TRYING to give it loves--and he was getting upset because his "lovin's" make the dog run away and squeal :)

Davin Brady

We took these pictures before it ever snowed. I thought they were the cutest pictures. He hates being cold and it was pretty chilly outside so it took a little while to get him to smile but once he saw his Aunt Rieley and Aunt Karlee making faces at him he started having a little fun! He's seriously the best thing that's ever happened to Brady and I. He brings so much happiness into our lives and I really don't know what we did without him for so long. Once he was here it's like he had never been gone. He brought our family a little closer to being complete. I had a pretty rough pregnancy with him and couldn't wait for it to be over...it was the longest 8 months of my life ((I had him about 3 1/2 weeks early)). But when he got here and I took one look at him, it was all definitely worth it. He's our pride and joy and we love him lots!!

Christmas Time

We had lots of fun at Brady's parents house for the holidays. Bobbie, Lindsay, Boston and Erin came up from school to spend the holidays with everyone. Davin and Boston are only 5 days apart and have a lot of fun playing together. Davin acted like he didn't know what to do when Boston left for St. George. They're almost best buds when they're together!

They had lots of fun playing with each others toys, and taking them away from each other! Last year they weren't even 2 months old when we opened presents so they didn't really know what was going on. This year they were pretty into opening their presents and surprisingly they wanted the presents more then they wanted the paper and boxes.

Bobbie and Lindsay got Davin 3 little puzzles and Boston like those a ton! And Boston got a little four-wheeler and Davin loved playing with that!We also went and took Davin to sit on Santa's lap and it was the worst experience I think he's ever had....he HATED it! We had good holidays though. It was good to spend some time with the family while everyone was home!

Well we decided to start one of these things, we'll see how it goes! We'll keep it up to date as much as possible with pictures and everything!!!
