Luke and Davin

Davin and Luke ((Dave's dog)) have become quite the pals. I know it looks like Davin is kind of mean to him but they were just playing.

Just A Few Thoughts

I love the month of August. Not because it's summer or anything ((although I do love it for that too)) but because it's the month that I was baptized and confirmed a member of the church. On August 19th and 20th it'll be FOUR YEARS since I was baptized and confirmed a member of the church. I tell Brady all the time that I can't imagine my life without the Gospel, and it's weird to think that I didn't have it in my life for 18 years. I'm so thankful for being able to learn more and more about it, for being able to teach my kids about it, and for having a wonderful husband who is a returned missionary to teach me things I never knew. I love being able to go to the temple. When Brady and I were sealed in the temple we got to bring Davin with us to be sealed to us also and it was the most amazing thing I've ever done and I love that I can spend eternity with my family. I'm so thankful to be able to do temple work. Like I said before I'm so grateful to be a member of this amazing church and to be able to share it with my family ((even though most of them don't want to hear it!!)) and to be examples to them and to my kids. I really have no idea what I would do without it in my life..........

This is the Vernal Temple--Brady and I were sealed in it.

Bradys sister Erin has been out on a mission since December of 2009. She left one week after Trevin was born to the Alabama, Burmingham mission. We miss her tons but we are so grateful for her example to us and especially to our kids. She's amazing :).

This is when Erin went and took her endowments out. I was 8 months pregnant with Trevin!

We went to Nauvoo in the summer of 2008. This is the Nauvoo Temple during the day.

This is the Nauvoo Temple at night. My mother in law took this picture and its SO pretty. We had the chance to go and do a session in this temple and it was BEAUTIFUL inside!

A Little Bit Of Play-Time

Summer BBQ

A couple weeks ago Dave went fishing at Flaming Gorge and caught some yummy fish. They had a BBQ with some neighbors. Dave got Fancy and Rebel out to give the kids a ride.

This is Dave and Jen's neighbor Sean with his son Penn.

Russ and Lana and their three kids ((Audrey, Sierra and Derek)) came to. It was a yummy dinner!

UBIC Weekend

UBIC was such a busy weekend. We went down Friday to watch Bradys sister dance at the park. She did so good. It was a fun night and Davin got all of his energy out and got to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpas. The next morning we had the parade. Davin, Trevin and I rode with Dave on the mini's again. It was the last parade of the summer and it was huge and lots of fun. I think Davin got a little tired because he fell asleep on the cart towards the end. I even had to find Brady and run and pass Trev off to him because he was really fussy.

One of my FAVORITE pictures of the boys

Riding in the parade

Later that night they had fireworks and Dave and Jens house is the perfect seat to watch them. We had some friends come up and Davin and Mazie got to play for a couple hours. They had lots of fun. Davin wasn't even that scared of the fireworks this time.

Davins New Bed

Davin has had a bed for quite awhile in his room but it never had a frame on it. Dave and Jen said we could have this one. It was one of Bradys little sisters from when they were younger. We decided to paint it blue to match his comforter and stuff.

He was eating all of Trevins treats and was SO excited to paint.

All painted!

He LOVES it. He loves taking our portable DVD player in there to watch movies on his bed. Turned out pretty cute!

Riding Horses

I should have taken more pictures but I knew I'd be on the horse the whole time so I figured it'd be hard. Anyways--Brady, Davin and I went up to the farm and helped Dave fly spray the cows this weekend. Davin LOVES riding the horses with Grandpa.

Here he is riding Lena--we were waiting for Brady and Grandpa to get their horses saddled so he sat on Lena for awhile. Here he is with his cheesy grin!

We were just going into the gate to the farm and I told him to smile and this is what I got--PERFECT!

Trevin is still to little to be riding the big horses so when we got back Grandpa got the mini's out and let Trevin sit on Fancy. He was smiling but I didn't quite catch it!

Teagan Claire and Taylor Grace

I guess I should have put all of their pictures on here--I tried picking my favorites but I ended up picking a ton of them! These are my two BEAUTIFUL nieces Teagan Claire (3) and Taylor Grace (6 months). Cody and Tiffany just got their family pictures done not to long ago and the photographer did an awesome job.

The 24th

The 24th is when Altamont has their parade ((which I thought was really little--but turns out it was HUGE)). Dave took the mini's in this year. Me and the boys got to ride with him again, and of course it was tons of fun. As little as Altamont is I thought the parade wouldn't be as big as it was, it was seriously one of the biggest parades ever. Brady said he thought that it lasted an hour and a half. It started at 10:10 and we left at 11:40. I didn't get any pictures of Trevin, he fell asleep half way through the parade and Brady came and grabbed him so Davin and I could throw candy.

Davin and Grandma, waiting for the cart to be ready.

My handsome little man!

Definitely gonna frame those to pictures.

Yeah--Trevin is pulling himself up on furniture--or whatever he can get his hands on.

You can't see it in this picture but he also got his first tooth. Im afraid it won't be to long and this little man is going to take off!

**OH I forgot to mention, Dave took 3rd place for his horse cart in the parade! How cool is that!?
