Once There Was A Snowman....

I don't ever remember building a snowman when I was little. We FINALLY got our first snow this weekend. It snowed---and snowed---and snowed. I finally got to make a snow man. Davin and I were outside all day Saturday and Sunday. Our snowman was small because the snow wasn't wet at all so it was SO hard to pack. Sunday the snow was so much better and we made a new and bigger one but I didn't get pictures of it.



After the snowman was finished Brady let our dogs out and they ate the entire face. It was made out of oreos! He had so much fun in the snow. I usually hate snow but this year I couldn't wait for it to snow so I could go out and play in it with the kids.

Christmas Party

Last night was our ward Christmas party. After the primary program the nursery kids got to get up on stage and shake some bells and sing Jingle Bells. Davin had a blast. He was singing it allll night last night! I can't believe he will be a SUNBEAM in 2 weeks!


Then the big guy came in. Davin was a little nervous at first. Then he saw the HUGE bags of candy they were giving to the other kids. He told Santa he wanted cars. Santa told him he'd been a good boy ((seriously if Santa only knew!! Just kidding..He's a good kid!!!)). When he got off his knee he was SURE to say "Harry Christmas Santa!!". Probably the cutest thing I've heard in a long time!


Trevin was okay for about .2 seconds. He looked at him and FREAKED out. He was definitely trying to get out of Santas arms. And honestly, I think Davin was a little bit in shock that Santa was actually there!

Ginger Bread Houses & Sugar Cookies

I was SOO excited to make a gingerbread house with Davin this weekend. He was way excited to. He had been wanting to do it for a couple days. We opened the box, and it was broken to PIECES. Thats his sad face--he's trying to stick his lip out. So we went to the store and got a new one.

He was so excited to get his hands messy and was such a big help!

He put every single piece of candy one...

And of course ate some in the process!

Turned out pretty cute!

We made some Sugar Cookies afterward. Davin helped cut the shapes and put the frosting and sprinkles on. Half of them are already gone!

Happy 1st Birthday Trevin!

Talk about picture overload. I know. His birthday isn't actually until today ((December 7th)) but we had his party last night.

His cake turned out SO cute--but he had no idea what to do with it!

Then it CLICKED that he could eat it--and it was all fun from there!

Davin had to help him out of course!

Im lucky that I didn't get any on myself!

Davin got excited when we were opening presents. He got to help Trevin and every time he would see the present he'd say "mommy this is mine??". So cute. When I was wrapping Trevins presents a couple days ago Davin was helping me and he said "Mommy please I share Trevins presents?" He's way to cute. Trevin had such a good first birthday. Jen of course cooked an amazing meal--ham, cheesy potatoes, green salad and yummy rolls. We had fun--but I still can't believe my baby is a year old already!
